It is not a sketch but it is in my sketchbook, so I hope it still counts for our SKETCHBOOK FRIENDS BLOG.
Here is my take on this Quotes & Lyrics Challenge.
I have used the lyrics from that old crooner Frank Sinatra
"Love and marriage
Love and marriage
Go together like a horse and carriage"
As you can see there is no carriage and that is because we got married on the beach in Miami, Florida 25 years ago this September and we have been together 35 years in all.
Here is another song for you
"And its getting better, growing stronger"
Well I think this fits the bill perfectly Lynn :) And I love the heart you created with your sewing :o) xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Mo. It's not what was in my head but it's how it came out haha x

Such a great photo - love what you've done with it and all that sewing!
ReplyDeleteWish I had a free motion function on my sewing machine. You did a fantastic job with the photo, the lyrics, AND the hearts. Adorable in every way.
ReplyDeleteA great and very personal piece of artwork. Love the freehand sewing.
ReplyDeleteWow! So romantic! Love those sewn hearts! Chrisx
ReplyDeleteOh, wonderful inspirations, dear Lynn! So charming and to dream and smile - a little :)
ReplyDeleteGreetings from Erika
What a lovely romantic piece of artwork, Lynn, and I do like the stitched hearts which make a gorgeous textural background. Thanks for your visit and your lovely comment - so glad you like my teabag zentangles! I am planning to scan the page once it's complete, and then have some fun with the printouts - making new layouts, grouping them, making some cards from them, perhaps.
