Online course Sketchbook pages

I thought I would add some of the pages I have done for an online
design course I am doing under the guidance of contemporary embroiderer
The purpose is to create a design/work book which will lead to an end textile piece.
My plan is to make a half apron and some framed artwork.
My starting point was the textile art of Barbara Jepson.
I have many of her pieces in my house and love to look at them on a daily basis.

Somebody has been busy

It is Joanna of Fiddlesnips.
Jo has entered the Brooklyn Sketchbook Project 2013 and completed her book ready to send off.  Thousands of sketchbooks tour the world starting in New York.  Last year I entered one myself and went to London to see lots of others.  Its a great event.

To see Jo's full book have a look at our Flickr page or link on to her blog below

Well done Jo, I know how much work you have put into your book.  We hope lots of people get to see it.
